G'day and welcome to my recap and analysis of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls at Blizzcon Day 2! In this video I cover what we learned about the new Crusader class and the new skills coming for the other five classes! Pretty exciting stuff, I'm hyped to play the Crusader.

Core Design Concepts for the Crusader
- Battle Scarred knight
- Powered by Righteous Wrath
- A War Machine Made Human
- Shield is super important (yay!)

We got a look at some of the in game armor sets for the Crusader

Talked about animating the class and giving him a look and feel that supports the core design concepts.

On that noted we got a look at some of the skill animations on detail, even their design process for them.
- Shield bash: really suits the feel of the crusader's wrath and uses the shield as a weapon. Feels quite aggressive and tanky
- Justice + Blessed Shield: suits the idea of a tanky mid range melee character. Blessed shield looks to ricochet amongst enemies before returning.
- Fist of the heavens: awesome looking skill that really suits the idea of this guy being a war machine calling in divine artillery strikes
- Heaven's Fury: similar idea but after being called in acts independently of the crusader
- Steed Charge: summons a short duration mount that allows you to charge through and deal damage to enemies
- Falling Sword: My favourite. The crusader himself becomes the bomb teleporting up and then crashing down on enemies.
- Blessed Hammer as an homage to the Crusader's Paladin roots.

Brief look at each of the other classes
- some hints on changes coming and a look at a new skill each. Hints that there would be one new skill per class not several..
- Also talked about ensuring changes take each class back to it's core design concepts.

BARBARIAN
- Strength and Fury of the Earth
New skill: avalanche. Shout that causes a ton of rocks to fall down on enemies.

WIZARD
- Ranged Caster with strong elemental affinity
Frozen Orb Rune as a call back to Diablo 2.
New Skill: Black Hole. sucks in and CCs enemies.

MONK
- Agile and fast moving martial artist
- they want the monk to be faster so a lot of skills are being changed to support this.
New Skill: Epiphany allows every skill to teleport while under the epiphany buff.

DEMON HUNTER
- Working on Traps to make them act more like traps.
New Skill: Vengeance. While under buff all attacks fire off extra missiles and railgun like attacks. Heavy fire power skill.

WITCH DOCTOR
- Happy with the class thematically but they want to strengthen DoTs and pets.
New Skill: Piranhas. Acts as an amplify damage curse and has a rune called Bogadile that causes enemies to be swallowed by a huge crocodile.
