Diablo 4 Reliquaries Is WORSE Than I Thought. 200 Plat Instead Of 700?
I'll be honest, I haven't had an interest in playing Diablo in almost 2 months & I did not even activate my Battlepass, which I usually did.
This season though is particularly worse by a mile.
I didn't understand until I was calculating the platinum. Already the rewards apart from the pets look cheap but this is what really upsets me & many others.
Previously, we paid 1000 Platinum & we got access to a bunch of stuff that also included buffs & platinum. We used to get 700 platinum if we got far enough in the battle pass, so that would mean we only paid 300 plat for the battlepass & tons of cool stuff that we just unlocked.
Now we have to grind for Tokens or pay plat to purchase. Bro get the frig out of here with that nonsense. Yes, I know the tokens might not seem like a big deal at all, but when you put a value on something instead of just having to play & advance, that changes everything. We are tired of PAYING for everything in life, this was a needless change that changed the way we viewed unlocking rewards.
I cannot stress how mediocre EVERY piece of armor we unlock looks. I have zero interest in claiming the slop. But see, that's how they screw you, if you want to get the End Game equipment for the Season, The Deceiver, you have to unlock everything first. I don't want that crap in my library, just like I did not want the pirate crap in my cosmetics library.
This is such a terrible move. I would complain less if Diablo 4 was a free game, but it cost me over 300$ to get the ultimate versions of Diablo & Vessel Of Hatred.
Enough is enough. That is why I switch hobbies to a more tangible & rewarding hobby, Gunpla.
