Diablo II: Resurrected lets fans carry over save files from original game
'Diablo II: Resurrected' will let gamers carry over their save file from the original release.
The beloved game launched back in 2000, and anyone still playing or with access to their save will be able to seamlessly transfer over all progress.
The reboot's producer Matthew Cederquist told IGN: "Yes, keep your old save files.
"Back when we were working on [the remaster], we wondered if the old save files would work, so we kind of shoved it in, and it worked!
"So yes, your local single-player save files will carry over."
Meanwhile, last month's BlizzConline 2021 event revealed the game will also feature a toggle to let gamers switch between the original title's graphics and the updated version's remastered visuals.
