Looking back it may be hard to believe so much time has passed since Diablo II but now, after 11 years Blizzard's next installment is finally finished. Sadly most of the employees of Blizzard North are no longer around to see it happen. Diablo III is a hack and slash/Real Time Roguelike/Action RPG where you can pick a character class (of which currently there are 5) that fits your style of play to go through the storyline. There are Horror elements to the game in that you are fighting hell spawn but generally the action is so high there is no time to feel tense or worried about how creepy the mosters are. It also helps the your hero can cut a swath through many a demon without even batting an eyelash. How long does this game last? Most of that depends on how you play, you could rush the game and finish in 6-8 hours or get the full experience and have it take more to the tune of 16-22 hours. It also supports 4 different difficulty levels that you can play one after the other using the same character. Along with the option for a 4 player Co-Op you can get a lot more out of this game on pure replay value.
Before we get started here is a little opening storyline for any who does not know already: Twenty years after the Diablo II storyline the old researcher Deckard Cain and his niece Leah are pouring over ancient cryptic texts in a Cathedral that speak of a forboading prophecy. As they are working Suddenly what apears to be a meteor strikes and creates a deep crater into which Deckard Cain vanishes. You as a player character arrive in the town of New Tristram just outside ground Zero to investigate. It's monster slaying time - Gogogo
