Diablo III - Reaper of Souls (03.07.2023) Carvali - Normal
Helped a warrior from cultists. And he turned out later, he was Cormac the templar. You could choose he could help you killing The Skeleton King, or he could travel home. I chose he should help me. Together we killed The Skeleton King.
Back in New Tristram, I could sell the extra items I found to the Merchant. And keep the good items for myself. But right now, the system of the items confuses me. You have eg. a belt or shield with a number for Armor. But then one might also experience to read below "Stats changes if equipped" and below -2.6 Toughness. On my character, I have:
Damage
Toughness
Recovery
The more armor items I put on my character, the higher number Toughness I get. So Toughness are the same as Armor??? Why not use the same word to avoid confussion? Or am I missing something here?!?
Eg. some leather cuffs had Armor on 17, but on the "Stat changes if equipped" I could see -17.4 toughness. So basically I will not get any protection from it? And my protection will go down by 0.4?
Don't get it... yet.
Adding to the complexity, different weapons or clothes, also gives some benefits if equipped. Usually the magic weapons or magic clothes. They can eg. give on
Primary: Regenerates 4 Life per second.
Secondary: +3 Life after each kill.
But that are straightforward to understand. If wounded a bit, you gain 4 point up per second in Life (the red orb/ball to the left). Plus 3 extra Life point for each kill.
Anyway, I also bought some new weapon, and armor for Cormac the templar that are aiding in my quests for now. First a weapon with high damage, that required two hands. But apparently he wasn't able to equipt it. Maybe becouse his level are same as mine. And the weapon need us to level up a bit, before he can use it.
But he got some better items, so he will defend himself (and me) better on our next quest.
Wonder if I put items for eg. one of the 6 other character classes in the big chest (stash) in New Tristram, they are able to use it? Or am I able to play with two characters at the same time?
Thanks for watching. Regards from Krusty
