Hey guys. I wanted to make a video to show you how to claim free rewards / items using the codex, so I deliberately not touch the codex until level 30, and I wanted to show you how you can claim everything at once, so you can see what type of items / xp you can claim (hilts, XP, battle pass points, scraps, enchanted dust etc).

However, I soon realised why this is a bad idea. After I claimed a few things, I noticed goals popping up that I had already completed (e.g. "Talk to the blacksmith and salvage 1 item"), but because I didn't claim rewards for the prerequisites I completed (e.g. "Learn the Location of Queen Asylla's Handmaiden from Captain Azmir"), it doesn't know that I have already talked to the blacksmith and salvaged 1 item. As a result, now there are many goals that I have to complete again (e.g. "Talk to the blacksmith and upgrade 1 item to rank 2"), in order to be able to claim rewards for them in the codex.

Other than that small hiccup, you will see in this video where to click to claim rewards and what kind of rewards you can claim. Some of the places to click are not super obvious, like how to get into the battle pass. There are some places where you don't expect to pick up free items (e.g. in the mail and in the shop) which I also show you in the end.
