Just wanted to post this vid, hoping it will help someone not make the same mistake I did. If you kill Mother's Judgement without entering the room she is in, you will get soft locked, and have to fight your way back through the Offal Pits and kill her again.

The barriers that go up in the room during the fight will not have gone up, so if you beat her and then enter the room, the barriers will go up, and since she is already dead, you cannot dispell them. This caused me to have to exit the game, and when I loaded in again, I had to go back to the Offal Pits and fight through them again...just make sure you are actually in the room when you fight her.

Thankfully, this isn't a blocker, as loading back in will fix it. Just very annoying to have to fight back through to progress.
