So, first off, you have to get a key from the Mycologist by splicing 4 different sets of cards that they ask for (I forget exactly what they were, but I remember that the Gravedigger was one, as well as one of the Mage cards). The Mycologist can be found in the second part of the game (after taking Leshy's picture with his camera and film, which lets you start a New Game). Once in the second part of the game, the Mycologist's house is the big mushroom right between the Crypt and Cabin areas.

Once you have fulfilled the 4 requests from them, a key will appear that you can grab. Afterwards, you have to finish beating the four Scrybes to be taken to the next part of the game, which is Robotopia. I don't know if it is ALWAYS the next place, but it's where I ended up when I replaced the Undead Scrybe, Grimora. I am assuming you will always go here next, but since this is my first playthrough, I'm not entirely sure.

Anyways, once you have the key, and beat the 4 Scrybes to get to Robotopia, you have to play far enough into this chapter to get to the second warp point (as seen at the start of the vid). What you want to do is hover the mouse over the bottom right of the screen, and a secret arrow will appear. Going here takes you to a purple room where the key can be used, which takes you to the Mycologist.

Prepare for a super hard fight! I died a ton of times until I tried out the strategy you see in the video. I didn't have the Nano Armor item yet, so after grabbing some cash, I went back to the first warp point, and then south to the Item area. It's the item in the bottom left (IIRC, it was $26?). Also, I had already gotten Mrs. Bomb, which you can get by exploring the first room when you are able to get up from the table to get a battery (story related). It was one of the drawer puzzles to the right of where P03 is.

SO first off, place an Empty Vessel in the middle of the board to block the first attack. After the Mycologist's turn, use Mrs. Bomb to fill up the spaces with bombs, and then during that same turn, shield up with the Nano Armor. This will pretty much wipe out the Mycologist's army, and have it so you have some shields to block the rest of their attacks. Then just put cards down strategically and hope you win!

I noticed that he spliced a bunch of my cards together during the fight....I don't know if I lost them, or if it only was for that fight (I literally just beat this fight, I'll have to check), but damn! You get a pretty sweet card with a bunch of abilities that make that fight so much easier afterwards! I really hope this helps! I died so many times, and tried so many things to finally win this fight lol
