Hello friends, I just made this short video testing and demonstrating the Diamond Monster-Sound wavetable module I recently got together with the Diamond Monster Sound card.
It features the AdMos QDSP QS1000 wavetable synthesizer with a 2MB sample ROM.
Unfortunately, the left channel is less amplifies (or not amplified?) than the right channel. So for this recording, I used Audacity to normalize the channels individually to fix it. I suspect there is a cold solder joint or maybe a broken IC on the module, need to figure it out in future. Anyway, here's the recording I made. It is the 4th tune from the DOS game "Zorro", developed and released by Capstone Software in 1995.
