( Just Have Fun, Game always OffLine )
Assassin's Creed II continues the adventures of Desmond Miles, who was previously involved in the memory extraction process carried out by Abstergo Industries. Having dug up Altaïr ibn La'Ahad's memory from the Animus, Desmond and Lucy Stillman then escape from the research facility. Desmond then entered into a more sophisticated tool, namely Animus 2.0. This time they will extract the memory of Ezio Auditore da Firenze who is known to be blood related to Desmond.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze (1459 – 1524) was a nobleman from Florence, Italy, who lived during the Renaissance in the 15th century. Ezio's name is taken from the Greek "Aetos" which means eagle and "Firenze" is Italian for Florence. Just like before, Assassin's Creed II presents a fictional main character but the place, character and time settings are based on real history.
Ezio was born as the second child of the couple Giovanni Auditore (a banker) and Maria de' Mozzi. The Auditore dynasty was one of the most prestigious aristocrats in Italy since the 13th century. They lived in the suburbs of Venice and for many years were close friends of the Medici dynasty that ruled the city of Florence.
Even though its heyday was relatively short (about 200 years), the Auditore dynasty kept a secret, namely a great fighter with an Assassin background. In 1476, or approximately 170 years after its founding, the Auditore dynasty finally collapsed. This was due to an evil conspiracy between Rodrigo Borgia, Uberto Alberti and the Pazzi family (who became enemies of the Medici).
Real history states that Rodrigo Borgia (1431 – 1503) was a Pope with the title Pope Alexander VI. He is a high ranking Spanish church official as well as a leader of the templars (crusaders). Even though he is a church official, Borgia's expertise is evident in politics and diplomacy. After years of serving the five previous Popes, Borgia gained influence and wealth. Because of his policies that often benefit himself and his family (nepotism), Borgia is the most controversial Pope. His surname is a synonym for the corrupt standards of the Papacy in that era.
