Did EA Already KILL Rocket Arena? (Terrible Release Numbers)
Rocket Arena released on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Windows for PC on 14 July 2020. That makes it around 2 weeks old at the time of writing this. It isn't free to play, despite many expecting it to be. And this is causing it to flop. Badly.
It has terrible player counts. Numbers that are incredibly low for such an early period. And this has caused EA and / or Final Strike Games to drop the price massively. Which is causing problems of its own. Leaving the game in a situation of having free to play trials on Steam and Xbox, still being charged for on Playstation 4 and being part of Ea and Origin Access. Which are two paid for services. It's all a bit of a mess.
So this is my roundup of what's taken place with Rocket Arena so far. As well as somewhat of a review, along with my gameplay. Spoiler, it's fun. But not fun enough to charge for.
