Did Rooster Teeth Go WOKE? Why RT is losing views in 2023
161It’s been years since I listened to Burnie Burns, Gavin Free, Barbara Dunkelman and Gus Sorola on the RT Podcast. A lot has happened since then. But it seems like the downfall of Rooster Teeth continues. The Ryan Haywood Drama from Achievement Hunter and Adam Kovic from Funhaus had their scandal, which was followed by layoffs and brutally bad reviews written by previous employees on Glassdoor. Another ex Achievement Hunter employee and voice actress of RWBY comes forward with hard hitting accusations against the company. Kdin Jenzen, who worked with Rooster Teeth for almost 10 years and who primarily appeared on Achievement Hunter but was also known for voicing May Marigold in RWBY amongst other credits, left the company in June 2022. And just a few months ago she shared a detailed piece about some of her experiences within the company, including some shocking details of what’s allegedly really going on behind the scenes at RT. Geoff Ramsey, Gus Sorola, Michael Jones and Rooster Teeth responded with official statements. And now, a few months after the latest scandal, I get a lot of comments about Rooster Teeth being 'woke' and that's why they're not watching the shows anymore. Let's discuss. I hope you enjoy.
