Did seven (or eight) popes deny the Immaculate Conception of Mary? Are the citations attributed to them taken out of context, and simply the fallacious work of an unreliable Catholic, and "liar," by the name of Launoy, who the notable & reputable Anglican Philip Schaeff based his research on? Or, are the citations, and Launoy's work, valid?
