Oblivion is still an absolute blast even if it is wearing a high resolution puppet. It's interesting that different behaviour was observed from my original Oblivion testing, but the exact reason why would probably require an actually experienced Elder Scrolls modder to explain IF the answer isn't that the dev team actually changed something in the goblins code. The Skirmisher behaviour is a shock as I thought it was a mod invention in the original video due to no mention in the documentation or game, but with this release it seems it was actually base game code.
Glad to be back from PC building hell.
