
Did Vanilla WoW Almost Not Have Druids? (Warcraft Mini Facts)
When the wow developers were first planning out which classes players would be allowed to play, Druids were not on the original short list. But blizzard did have nine classes planned in that original short list. Basically warriors, paladins, shamans, priests, hunters, mages, and warlocks were all on the design table from the beginning. And in addition to those seven, they also had assassins and Rune masters.
