40,285Laurie actually gives us a line that is based on an old deleted scene. In the opening of the movie, Laurie screams for the firefighters to let it burn as her house is engulfed in a raging inferno. This is actually based off of a deleted scene from Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers where they have a flashback to the end of Halloween 2. It shows Dr. Loomis begging paramedics to let him burn after blowing up the operating room that Michael is in. Obviously, both pleas are ignored.
