Despite having inferior graphics and a slower processor compared to its competitors, the 2007 sales figures of the Financial Times revealed that the Nintendo Wii had surpassed the Xbox 360 and had emerged amongst the top-selling electronic game consoles of all time and reached new levels of popularity by selling over 26 million gaming consoles in 2009, which is still a favorable number even now.
