Different Idea For Galaxy Red Shift

1I have been kicking around the idea of galaxy red shift being caused by something other than doppler shift for many years. Last year at one point in time I came up with the idea that light might be red shifted within space time across vast distances of open space due to a lack of gravity. The space time in these empty regions of space would be naturally expanded. Light having no choice in the matter would be red shifted in the opposite way that it is steered about as it travels through space time next to a large mass. This video tries to explore the idea. I'm not the best content provider so it's quality probably isn't the best.
