**Digimon World 2 Alternative** is a new Digimon World 2 experience for both seasoned veterans
of the game, as well as newer players!
=-=-= DW2 ALT Changes & Features =-=-=
- The story has been modified to reinterpret the events
- Virtually all dialogue in the game has been edited
- Overall difficulty attempts to gradually increase over the course of the game, instead of capping at a certain point and staying there
- All enemy teams, bosses, trades, and more have been changed
- New Digimon exist to recruit and Digivolve into!
- DNA Digivolution results have also been changed. Switching the order the Digimon are chosen for DNA may produce a different result!
- Digimon Skill AP, MP costs, and Effects have been rebalanced
- Menu and Battle UI has been adjusted to support viewing the AP, Element, and Effects of the skills in-game
- A Digimon Re-name Attendant was added to the Coliseum, allowing players to re-name their Digimon if they want!
- Mixed Type enemy Digimon teams may be found in domains, they require Toy Gifts for All Digimon types to recruit
- Domains have had a fresh coat of paint, and have new floor layouts
- Recruit chances for Digimon of all levels have been made slightly more generous
DW2 Alternative patch v6 release!
=-=-= Patch v6 Changes & Features =-=-=
There were many changes between v5.7 and v6. Here are a few of the notable ones:
- Large heart recruitment is now 100% success rate for all evolution stages.
- Rebalanced EXP and BITs rewards from battles.
- Adjusted stats of several encounters and bosses.
- Domain box loot was rebalanced, again.
- Two trades starting availability moved forward slightly (Trade 5 and Trade 8).
- Z-Cannon available for purchase upon Device Dome arrival.
- Z-Cannon and Z-Bombs reworked.
- Core Tower traversal made less annoying.... And more!
