Greetings one and all to a realm of commentated videos where I essentially critique a wide variety of games that I have enjoyed not just thoroughly, but also enable a high level of creativity in some form to make the experience special for me to talk about!

Now having finally made it to the point where I was properly ready to start taking on the 'late-game' scene laying within Digimon World: Next Order here, I proudly show off what was (at the time) my first actual good duo of digimon partners, that being Dynasmon and my SECOND OmniShoutmon that, thankfully unlike the first one which I got robbed over, is an actual Mega-tier digimon as opposed to oddly also being a Champion-tier digimon with the correct digimon to evolve it from, having made a significant amount of progress, going from near the end of Chapter 2 ALL the way right near the end of Chapter 4, having done far more than any of my other digimon partners were capable of doing!

It certainly goes without saying that, for these two mighty duo digimon here, this would mark the start of where I'd feel comfortable doing the more dangerous of digimon fights here, having learnt enough about the game to be reasonably comfortable with my digimon's combat capabilities alongside having the resources and items to back them up on their long adventures outside of Floatia here, having steadily built it up across eight whole generations of digimon here!

It's no doubt then that I was quite keen on showcasing some of the more dangerous areas of this digital world here, starting oddly enough with Logic Volcano where, despite being designated as an 'early' area of the sorts, does feature one particular spot that hosts a trio of fairly high-level digimon that WILL stomp you unless you're either well-stocked with healing items and prepared to waste a whole bunch of them or are sufficiently trained enough to be able to handle their vicious attacks and have the power to dish it back out to them!

Touching on the whole resource gathering process, for the material side of things it's a fairly straight-forward process where you run up to a coloured spot (red is for metals, yellow indicates natural minerals, green has wooden materials and blue is typically around or next to pools of water, which is obvious enough!) and interact with it, resulting in one of your digimon partners 'mining' or 'hitting' it to extract said resource or resources from it, occasionally snagging the rare kind from it alongside this game's collectable that is 'digimon cards', making a return from the original game as well albeit you can't but them in packs of five and have to do tons of resource gathering to get a reasonable amount of them.

However, much like the original game as well, you can also gather the 'resource' that is fishing here, where it is a tad more complex than simply interacting with it although sadly there's no actual fishing mechanics present here unlike the original's 2D-esque fishing gameplay style of slowly luring in the fish towards your location, with the bigger fish having some 'fight' in them that required a tactful approach in not applying too much pressure on the line to break it but also not so little that the hook loosens from it's mouth here, ah well some might prefer it that way as fishing seems to be something of a gimmick that many a gamer would prefer is done properly in games designed around fishing itself, but alas such as it is!

Ah well, with the second trilogy of game save files covered, there's only the last (and latest) trio to be shown off, but that'll have to wait for the time being!

In any case, I hope you enjoyed the video and any constructive comments or criticism is appreciated!
