Recently, Digital Dream's ended its Kickstarter that allowed owners to buy several options including a lifetime cloud membership for $37 and also an combo option of the Escape Pod (allow vector to work without servers but limited functionality) along w/lifetime cloud membership for $67.
After the kickstarter ended, prices would go up to now $7 / month or $49 / year. A lot of owners were not happy about this however I am ok with this since we know why Anki is no longer in business; no revenue streams.
So just my thoughts on the Cloud fees and a little Vector demoing at the same time.
As for the weather failures in demo/video:
-Weather location in the iOS app had to be re-setup and once i did, the usual "Hey Vector, whats the weather" returned the weather for my location i set.
-I have let Digital Dream's know about the weather location in the Vector app; its a bit hard to set it and the fact that this was set and working prior as a heads up.
