In speedruns of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, there will be a few instances where the runner will unplug their controller. Why, you may ask? Well, there's something in this game we refer to as the "Load Error Glitch." If you reload a file, disconnect a controller during the loading screen, and then back out of the menu once the bubbles screen goes away, you'll be put into a glitched state where there will be no dialogue lines, you can pick up spatulas without the celebration animation, you can walk on slides, and you're invincible to most things that would otherwise hurt you. As you'd probably imagine, there are a few instances where this is a very useful trick to have, such as the Prawn fight, where it becomes entirely trivialized.
