【Field of Virtue (Japanese Name?)】
After Entering Celestia through the gate no demon opened for thousand years, you meet Mid-Boss. Laharl questions Flonne why he's here but she can't answer it. Then Gordon starts to guess who he really is and the others continue but everyone was wrong. Mid-Boss tries to keep it a secret for now and starts a battle.
After the battle Mid-Boss gives Laharl advice for the future. Etna was shocked that he's all serious suddenly and Laharl asks again who he really is. The only answer Mid-Boss gives is that he's the Dark Adonis. Everyone gets confused because of what he said but Flonne thinks he wanted to help them.
Master Vulcanus told the Seraph that Flonne entered Celestia with demons to overtake it. During a monologue Vulcanus reveals his evil plan.
【Paradise 天使の園】
On their way, Laharl and his companions are intercepted by a group of Celestians. Etna rightly remarks they should not expect a warm welcome. This is soon confirmed by one of the angels, saying their orders are to execute Angel Trainee Flonne for treason, along with all who assist her.
Flonne is momentarily taken aback by the turn of events and asks to see the Seraph, hoping to explain the situation. Her request is denied though. And after Laharl talks some sense into her, she agrees there is only one way to resolve this: "kicking angel butt"

Laharl and his companions are greeted by Vulcanus, who seems intent on finishing what his angel squad in the previous map started. However, after a lengthy conversation about who is evil and who is right, Vulcanus calls forth a new angel squad and leaves the map. So we're not fighting him yet.
【Coliseum 戦天使の闘技場】
Upon entering the stage, Laharl remarks something is not right. They've come all this way, and still they haven't seen the Seraph. This probably means that the Seraph is somehow involved, or at least knows what is happening and still refuses to meet Flonne. Flonne understands her companions' reasoning, but still she remains firm in her belief in her mentor. She needs to press forward, knowing fully well that severe punishment awaits her at the end of this journey. Still, she has no regrets.
【Divine Prison 罪人封印室】
Laharl and his companions are greeted by Vulcanus, again, who praises them for getting this far. Gordon warns of a trap, stating the obvious. And Vulcanus doesn't dissappoint, summoning greater demons to abide to his will. The greater demons are powerful enough to pauze the group, and while they're pondering what to do against such strong opponents, a green prinny appears. The prinny balks at not being recognized and introduces himself as Kurtis, Gordon's rival. Claiming he will fight the demons and rescue his precious friends as a way to atone for his sins, he joins the party.
