Video 02 Event Boss
"Pringer X"
- I fought this boss yesterday and died because only Desco and Valzy were the only one able to actually hurt it. Everyone else was most likely a miss (6-16% chance of hit) or zero damage due two pathetic stats.
Obviously them two is not enough to deal over 4 million damage in a limited amount of turns (using the "pick up enemy to avoid them to attack" tactic).
So this time, the only difference is I obtained Asagi-NT and leveled DESCO's weapon to lv30 via Item World. With the new tactic I used on Asagi-NT, I was able to defeat Pringer X despite my insane low stats and levels of my characters.
{DESCO is the Final Boss Tactics}
- Desco with Evil Symbol 10% stats boost.
- If Etna, Laharl or Valzy dies, Desco gets 10% of their base stats.
- Heart Cannon on Desco, Valzy and Asagi-NT
- All range characters to boost the Combo count which increases Valzy and Desco's damage tremendously (also helps Asagi-NT deal decent damage too).
- Some mad luck that Pringer X doesn't use its Pringer Beam to take out Valzy and Desco. But it seems the AI loves to go after the weakest link first. This is why I set Tessa, Raspberyl and Fuka far away since Pringer X generally go after them first for easy kill (with PringerBeam).
BUT I did not expect Pringer X to use normal attacks (used attack on Fuka instead of PringerBeam)... which gave me ONE extra free turn of mass attacks which allowed me the win.
- At the very last turn, I was deciding if I was to MagiChange or not.. this is very crucial decision since Pringer X has a skill that nulls the first damage against it. AND since only Valzy and Desco can deal damage (with high accuracy too), I had to rely that Asagi-NT will hit PringerX AND deal damage (but will be voided) by using her awesome Deadly Hurdle skill.
Overall I was surprised I was able to pull this off with some clever setting up, even my streamers was surprised (they were all like "GO ITEM WORLD and Grind Levels!"
