Barbara is able to hold off Laharl and the rest. Unfortunately, the Krichevskoy Faction unleashed a black hole that threatened to consume all of the Netherworld. Soon one by one, everyone was sucked in, starting with Krichevskoy Faction who regret that it all ended up like this. Then Barbara who due to her conditioning as a loyal knight could not get away without being ordered. Then Etna who knew better than to believe that there would be a way out of this despite Laharl's words. Then Flonne and Sicily who Laharl failed to save. In the end, as he was sucked in, Laharl lamented the loss of his vassals and his Netherworld and how he, the Overlord, could let this all happen.
