Disney+ and Hulu are set to become one app as Disney plans to fully purchase Hulu from Comcast, according to CEO Bob Iger. While Disney will continue to offer the three streaming services separately, the combined platform will offer greater opportunities for advertisers and bundle subscribers' access to more streamlined content. The acquisition could potentially result in more content under the Disney umbrella being available on Disney+. The deadline for a decision is January 2024.
