"Disney's Aladdin" for the NES, developed by NMS Software and published by Virgin Interctive in 1994, is a side-scrolling action-platformer game. It's based on the animated Disney film of the same name, following the adventures of the titular character, Aladdin, as he seeks to rescue Princess Jasmine from the clutches of the evil sorcerer, Jafar.

Players control Aladdin as he navigates through various levels inspired by scenes from the movie, such as the streets of Agrabah, the Cave of Wonders, and the Sultan's palace. Along the way, Aladdin must overcome obstacles, defeat enemies, and collect items to progress through the stages.

The game is based on Shiny Entertainment's original Aladdin game for the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive. This game is not at all as good at that version though, with missing stages, bad color schemes, unreliable collision detection and flicker that sometimes make enemies disappear completely. Controls are also unresponsive, leading to delayed button presses and ineffectual sword attacks that pass through enemies without impact. There's also no visual indicators for which is the selected weapon, resulting in misfires and wasted projectiles.

Overall, "Disney's Aladdin" for the NES is a an easy and short platformer, with too many shortcomings for this to be recommended to anyone.
