"Dispatch" is a narrative adventure game where players take on the role of Robert Robertson, a former superhero known as Mecha-Man, now working as a dispatcher for the Superhero Dispatch Network (SDN). After his powersuit was destroyed, Robert is relegated to managing a team of super-powered convicts sent to handle emergencies. The game focuses on the player's choices as they navigate office politics, manage relationships, and strategize hero deployments in response to calls for help.
The game explores the themes of a washed-up hero finding his place in a new role, as well as the challenges of managing a team of flawed and sometimes dangerous individuals. The player's decisions will impact the outcome of events and the lives of the heroes they dispatch. The game also features voice acting by Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey, adding to the cinematic feel.
