In the horror game Distraint was created by Jesse Makkonen. Players play as Mr. Price, an ambitious but morally compromised businessman. Driven by a desire for wealth and status, Mr. Price engages in unethical business practices. He evicts tenants, exploits loopholes, and prioritizes profit over human decency. As Mr. Price's actions erode his morality, he begins to experience supernatural repercussions. Hallucinations torment him, ghostly figures appear, and the world around him distorts and decays. The further Mr. Price descends into darkness, the more his sanity deteriorates. He becomes increasingly isolated and paranoid, haunted by the consequences of his choices.
