Disturbing Video Game Music 21: TV Land - Garfield: Caught in the Act
103Yet another example of a game intended for kids having something that is almost certainly going to scar them.
In this obscure game for the Sega Genesis and PC (and Game Gear, but that port is almost completely different), Garfield has been captured by the surprisingly threatening Evil Glitch, a bug-like abomination made from spare TV parts. The Glitch teleports Garfield to a strange dimension where all shows are made real (not unlike Gex). Before Garfield can explore these worlds however he must traverse the twisted electronic limbo that is TV Land.
The song makes you feel like you are racing against the clock, however that is not the case. Still you are almost certainly going to be rushing to the entrance of the next level just so you don't have to listen to this extremely unnerving song.
Note that this is the version from the PC port of Garfield: Caught in the Act. The Genesis version is the same only lower quality, however the heartbeat in that version is perhaps even more disturbing sounding.
