Disturbing Video Game Music 210: The Freak Show - Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Speaking of demonic carnival music.
Whilst perhaps not as well known as most Spiderman games, Shattered Dimensions stands out as not only being especially good but for bringing together different Spidermen from different canons: Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate. This epic crossover would inspire the Spider-Verse comics, which in turn would inspire "Into the Spider-Verse". So be sure to thank this game for helping supply us with one of the best animated movies of all time!
But I digress, naturally you play as each of the Spidermen and each as their own set of villains. At one point Spiderman Noir must confront one of his archrivals, Norman Osborn aka the Goblin (think the Green Goblin only a LOT stronger and more brutal), an ex-circus freak turned crime lord. You confront him in his horrible circus and inevitably confront the Goblin in the big top, where this chaotic theme plays. It definitely skirts the line between disturbing and epic, but the incomprehensible chanting adds an unexpected layer of eeriness that meshes well with the usual evil carnival themes.
