Diving Flashlight U- King Review
7This light is nicely designed and is a great size for diving as a secondary light or for any high wet areas.
It has extreme water proofing capabilities with double o-rings sealing the tail cap. It has a high pressure seal and o-ring sealing lens and led.
We like the convenience of being able to use either a 18650 or 26650 lithium ion battery to run it.
the beam range was nice at 600ft with both wide beam angle and smaller beam angle making visuals underwater very good.
As we have stated in the review, because of the double o-ring design. It does make screwing the tail cap down completely to be a bit challenging because of the extra friction. As we stated lubing the rings with some silicone oil made this problem disappear. We would rather have this tight seal then have smaller o-rings that would eventually allow water to penetrate.
The step less or dimmer switch design is unique and does work well enough. We remain guarded to the functionality of this designed switch as debris or sand could enter while underwater possibly causing a malfunction. Although the switch is removable and the switch area could be cleaned well this would be hard to perform while actively in a dive. Because this scenario is a "What If" basis we will not count it toward the overall rating on the light.
