Looks like we're in for a treat with Gologames' Halver. Currently scheduled for release in 2024, this game is a puzzle platformer with gameplay similar to Thomas Was Alone, but with a unique twist as there are more ways to solve puzzles, such as breaking down blocks, making use of transparent blocks to double jump, and much more!

I've really enjoyed what I've played so far despite Level 13 (Temple) giving me trouble to the point where I had to stop playing due to how difficult I found that level to be. The game also features a level editor, which is currently unavailable, but I look forward to giving that a go once it does!

The only real criticism I can give this game is the lack of gamepad support, since I usually tend to play most platformers on Steam with a gamepad (such as those with xinput, for example). However, I can also understand why since this game was made with keyboard and mouse inputs in mind due to the nature of shooting projectiles at blocks to advance through certain puzzles.

That said, I'm really looking forward to seeing other players get their hands on this game once it launches on Steam in 2024!
