No soul mate or forced exchange either, I just do a ton of damage. Sebille dies after the fight was over, I forgot to cast a simple heal spell on her.
My team:
All team members have the "Pawn" talent.
Lohse - Tanky Utility summoner with glass cannon - Mostly focused on Memory and constitution. She has a couple points of int to use equipment. Then just use stuff like teleport, healing etc to support team. Totems cause decent damage.
Ifan - Glass Cannon Marksman - Max out finess + warfare, then scoundral, 0 wits. He either enters combat with enrage, or another character casts enrage on him for his absurd level of damage. (6 AP plus guaranteed crits from enrage).
Sebille - Tanky Utility Summoner with melee skills. She also has Battle Stomp and poly skills for CC. Again mostly focused on supporting the team and applying CC.
Beast - Full utility, a ton of memory and pretty much any skill that's relevant.
