Divinity Original Sin II Stream 28 - Steve explores Temple of Duna, Confronts Alexander & much more!
0We enter into Divinity Original Sin II with our good old pal Steve from the first series we did on Divinity Original Sin, and we enter a Modded file with augmented effects due to mods! Will he survive this wacky world as a skeleton going solo in this horrible world with no cheese, or will he die a gruesome death?!
For this stream, we did quite a bit. To start off with, we visited the Temple of Duna, but not before meeting another guardian who seemed to be a skeleton of sorts! Due to the champion of Duna being corrupted, we sought to aid them and cleansed their body through death, consuming their source body out of their own request for it! From there, we met with Alexander, defusing a situation as I learned the power of being a lizard was truly powerful when it came to conversations. After some discussion, me and Alexander came to a collective agreement that the Sallow Man, who was causing problems alongside Dallas needed to be dealt with. To that end, when he asked me to join him, I laughed in his face in response, resorting to violence. From his defeat, we met with an old face, the witch we met at Fort Joy who we took out with relative ease, whom we killed again despite her disgust and hate for my existence. By that point, we did a bit of exploration before we entered the Lunar Temple, to where we met with a construct we had awakened who told us of the library and the challenge below the temple that indicated our worthiness. I ended off stream after exploring the library and obtaining some stat boosts to my character in the form of a boost to Might and Endurance at the cost of Intelligence and Perception. A costly feat, but Perception can be fixed once we level up, and Intelligence is an easy fix with items, and not a deep investment unlike Wits would be. Next stream we will be defeating the challenge set by the arenas, and then we will ascend to divinity... or at least, try to do so, for good or ill!
