We start our series with Steve and Marcus! Steve is the legendary zombie necromancer who helps the Source Hunters by taking out Source in the name of justice! For Marcus, he is to Steve a sentient familiar, a zombie built to be a warmonger and handle the brunt of fights for Steve when his summons cannot do the same! Will their legend pierce the skies or will their fate be left to the shadows?!
For this stream, our objective was to do one thing; Level up and get stronger. Alas, it seems to be much harder in practice then it is on paper, especially for the beginning stages of the game! For the first few objectives, I was having serious issues with levels and numbers going heavy-handed against me, forcing me to resort to many unique methods. To even have trouble with Fire was naturally an issue I had to resolve. In the end most fights overwhelmed me, so picking such fights was going to be a constant chore henceforth, and one I would need to balance constantly. In the end we did get plenty of lore, some levels and a plethora of items at our disposal. We even got our first instance of an undead summoning spell! A useful combo with the spider to be certain, as having one summon is lackluster... but TWO? That helps a ton. I may need to get one for Marcus next just to make it easier action economy wise.
