In this video, I break down how I wired my solar setup using simple tools and methods that work for me. Some people were surprised by how it was done, so Iβm here to explain it clearly:
π§ I cut back snap-on solar cables to reveal the wire inside, braided them, and combined the wires using marr connectors (maurets).
β‘ I use standard 14 or 16 gauge cable, combining all 3 inner wires as either positive or negative to handle more current.
π The wires run directly into standard extension cords, which I plug into my solar battery equalizer/controller (you know what I mean π).
