"II Symbols" by DJ Jose vs. G-Spott is a standout track from the early 21st-century electronic music scene.

DJ Jose and G-Spott were well-known figures on the Dutch electronic music scene. Their collaboration on this track combined their unique production styles, blending melodic trance with progressive elements.

DJ Jose (real name: José Krijnen) is a Dutch DJ and producer who gained fame in the late 1990s and early 21st century. He is best known for his work in the trance and progressive house genres, with tracks that gained widespread recognition in clubs and on radio stations. His career includes hits such as "Hecitate," "Stepping To The Beat."

DJ JOSÉ has been a DJ since the age of fourteen. He started his career playing in discos and at drive-in movie shows.

At some point, he discovered the significance of "mixing" thanks to records like "Relax" (Frankie Goes To Hollywood) and "High Energy" (Evelyn Thomas). Over the years, DJ JOSÉ played in many clubs and at both national and international events.

In addition to working as a DJ, JOSE co-produces records with G-Spott, resulting in tracks like Wrong=Right, House of Justice, II Symbols, Access, and Hecitate.
With growing experience and collaboration, the results have been improving.

G-Spott (aka Richard Durand, real name: Richard van Schooneveld) is a Dutch DJ, producer, and remixer. He was a prominent figure in the trance and house scene in the late 1990s and early 21st century.

Known for his melodic and energetic productions, G-Spott contributed to the development of the Dutch trance sound. Besides collaborating with DJ Jose, he also released solo tracks and remixes that gained international recognition.

From a young age, he was interested in music and learned to play the piano. In 1997, he performed live for the first time under the pseudonym G-Spott.

Since then, he has often worked with DJ Jose, with whom he recorded several albums. From 2003, G-Spott performed live ahead of sets by popular DJs. His portfolio includes performances at festivals such as Mysteryland, Trance Energy, Dance Valley, and Pleasure Island.

In 2005, the track "Make Me Scream," released under the pseudonym Richard Durand, came to light. In the following years, his own productions did not achieve significant success.

However, his remixes for tracks by artists like Armin van Buuren, Fragma, Audio Bullys, and Snow Patrol gained much greater popularity. By remixing DJ Tiësto's tracks "Lethal Industry" and "Flight 643," Richard became more popular outside the Netherlands. In 2007, he received the title "Tip For The Top" from Tiësto.
