DJI Spark mini drone - Overview
188DJI’s drones have been leading the way for some time now and the trend looks to continue with the DJI Spark.
Spark is a mini drone, not much bigger than your hand, but its PACKED with nearly all of the features of its bigger siblings.
It has a 12megapixel 1080p camera mounted on a 2 axis gimbal to keep your video smooth and stable even up to its maximum speed of over 30mph!
The new gesture control system allows you to control Spark without a physical controller if you want to. You can take off from the palm of your hand and then control what the drone does by using hand gestures.
There is also advanced safety features. Sparks FlightAutonomy system senses nearby objects and avoids them. If signal is lost or the battery is running out then the drone will use GPS to return to where it took off. There is even DJI’s GEO system that lets you know where drone flights might raise security or safety concerns, such as near airports or stadiums.
Two models are available. The standard model is controlled using a mobile device like a smartphone, or with the gesture control features using just your face and hands. The ‘fly more’ bundle also includes DJI’s dedicated controller which extends control range to 2Km. both models are available in a range of colours and work with most smartphones
