Higan leaves Ice Mountain Village and makes his way to the next kingdom; The Peacock Kingdom.
When he arrives, Hisui's ring begins to glow. Cut to a scene of Hisui's fairy egg glowing. Strange.
Making his way through Peacock kingdom, Higan arrives at the Peacock Shrine town only to find that a mysterious red rain is falling, resulting in villagers getting sick and village crops dying. When he arrives at the Peacock Shrine he finds the Peacock Spirit is also encased in an enchanted barrier.
Suddenly, a stranger appears, introducing himself as Akamaru. He explains to Higan that the source of the red rain is a huge evil tower. However, no one can enter it because of a magic barrier protecting it. The stranger then runs off. Later, speaking to a shrine guardian, Higan learns that evil forces are trying to take control of a magic airship and use it for evil purposes. The guardian pleads with Higan to stop them from getting the airship. Higan agrees to help. After some rest, Higan leaves the town and makes his way to Luck Luck Village...
