The palace interior is pretty easy to get around and very linear, so take the time to explore this place to find treasure if you want. Alternatively, just navigate the pair through the place, while fighting off or fleeing from monsters as they appear.
Eventually, the duo reach the ice palace throne room and find Zettai waiting.
