0Higan heads to the North towards his next destination, eventually arriving at Luck Luck Village. As he enters, Hisui's ring begins to glow again. Cut to to a scene of the fairy egg glowing even brighter than before..
It seems that this village too is also effected by the red rain, causing havoc on everyone and everything..
Higan reaches the Peacock Palace, only to find a panicking Akamaru in front of a huge magic airship. Akamaru explains that this is the airship, the Mahamayuri. and is the only thing the can get into the Blood Tower.
Unfortunately, the maiden who guards the airship key is not there. She has gone to see the Thunder Hermit who lives in the Northwest. Higan offers to help retrieve the airship key. Akamaru gives Higan the key item: the Hermit's Horn, which can be used to summon the Thunder Hermit.
After travelling Northwest, Higan reaches the Thunder Hermits grotto and uses the horn to summon the hermit. After a funny scene, the hermit explains that the maiden ran off to another village..
As Higan prepares to leave, the Thunder Hermit decides to test Higan and challenges him to a duel (Just use wind fusion scroll magic and blazing cutter on the hermit). Higan emerges victorious and learns a new secret technique: The Thunder Cutter! Nice!.
Higan continues his journey to obtain the airship key.
