Some of my most memorable D&D moments weren't delving into a dungeon or fending off a dragon, they were spent with my party in a tavern. The idea of meeting in a tavern or staying at an inn are core concepts of Dungeons & Dragons. In my mind however, one of the hardest parts is coming up with ways to make that experience unique or to make each tavern feel like it is actually part of the world.
