Do Addons Affect WoW Performance? | Raid Encounter Benchmark
in this video I want to highlight that using many addons and WA can affect the game performance.
while some addons or WA are using too few resources, some are using too much.
I've installed 50 addons just to try it out, and a lot of WA just to try it out and I felt the difference.
I agree with you that we don't play with that many addons and WA (I hope so at least) every raid / dungeon etc but I would recommend reduce the number of WA and addons for a smooth gameplay.
Tbh I didn't expect to have this difference with #7950x3d and 32GB DDR5.
overall I felt the difference, without any addons the game was very smooth, gained more fps and time response. even more I had to be more careful of my surroundings even tho I know the fight.
I personally will remove some WA and some addons for next raid
to record this video I've played first with addons to build more cache then I recorded the video.
after doing addons/WA video I just deleted cache, wtf, interface folders
