A step by step styled process video showing me create a mixed media canvas-styled piece using acrylic paints and die cut elements.

I start by coloring a tag shaped base using acrylic paints. I'm going for a bit of a weathered look and use water droplets to prevent the paint from drying in places. After getting a base layer for the piece, I then add a pattern on top using a stencil. First I add flat pattern and a bit later the same pattern in dimensional form using modeling paste. I also collage some elements to the background. I then add some inks to the background to weather it a bit more. I use die cut pieces together with ready die cut ephemera for the main composition. I use ink also here to grungy things up. I finish the piece with some metal embellishments.

Thank you for watching!
