DOA V Last Round (Deception Organizing the After-hours dream-Venue) SKETCH
SKETCHING OUT CONCEPTS - The call for Last Round being announced, for many a die-hard weekend warrior is the announcement to start getting ready for the real party to jump off.
After the club closes at 2 in the morning, it's time to get into the hard-dream-like territory of After Hours Venues or Parties, where the boundaries are not constrained by licensed permits and legal ordinance, but by the permissions and indulgences of and by the host[s], or in the most Anarchic of intimately secluded circles, the boundaries and limitations governed by sheer consensus of [often implicit] interleaving permissions, desires, interpersonal appreciation, experimentation, congeniality, and respectful courtesy.
The After Hours can, and often does cross over into a quasi-paradoxical realm of happenings which never happened - an analogous variant abstraction of the Schrodinger's Cat thought experiment - in the contingent world, the After Hours scene may well comprise the most potent reciprocal for comparison with the psychoanalytical domain of the collective unconscious - independently experienced as dreams while asleep, formed from unconsciously shared environmental constituents -
Sleeping is a living state, yet it is denoted by disconnection from involvement in waking activity, while dreaming accesses an individual sense of awareness of reality that occurs without any involvement (or causal/contingent) relation to conscious/waking reality.
Dreaming could be described as a quantum superimposition of being both, neither, and either Dead Or Alive simultaneously.
An interesting postulation to begin a premise from, following the "Mash-Up" infusion from Deception 4 "The Nightmare Princess." The new character Nyotengu having been introduced into the dream ensemble of DOA in short order with [if not parallel to] the Extension of the Fourth Volume of Deception bridging platform generations [to PS4] by addition of what would seem to be either the penultimate [or ultimate] inception of indulgently perverse Dec. IV persona - the titular "Nightmare Princess" presents as virtually identical to the Cross-Fitted Nyotengu. The Trap-Nightmare [dream within a dream] phenomenon presents a plausible [or ideal] staging ground for a Possession -Driven plot-line of DOA characters supplanted by their Dec IV doppelgängers. Ah, to be Jung again, in a Neo-Freudian Post-Futuristic catharsis! [yeah ... dream on, right?]
