A lot of news outlets have been reporting that Millie Gibson who is playing Ruby Sunday alongside Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor is leaving the show during the second season of Russell T Davies' new era.

However, none of us have really known whether this information is true or not but the past couple of days have changed that since Verada Sethu has been seen on set with Ncuti Gatwa and she was the actress that the mainstream media were discussing in their initial reports.

Like with all of our favourite franchises, there is nothing wrong with diversity and people of different backgrounds being involved in the world of Doctor Who but the toxic fandom reduces these actors to only their superficial traits and only focuses on identity politics which annoys the true fans immediately as they want a story over the message.
