Doctor Who Steven Moffat RETURNS To Write Ncuti Gatwa's 2024 Christmas Special? | RTD Era SAVED?
34Doctor Who Christmas specials are always well...special. They celebrate the holiday and provide us with an engaging story and something to enjoy with our friends and family. Even if a season is rather uninteresting or just not that great, people do still tune in to see the specials because that is how important they are to not only the pop culture world but also society in general.
According to some deep research by fellow Whovians, previous Showrunner, Steven Moffat, will apparently be returning to write the 2024 Christmas special. As always, there is a chance that this information could be false but at present, that seems incredibly unlikely. There have also been some rumours that Moffat has written an episode for this upcoming season, Ncuti Gatwa's first, but that is to be seen.
If this is true then I am glad because I believe that Moffat at his best is way better than Russell T Davies, RTD, at his best. I have always connected more with the Moffat Christmas specials of the past because of the way he incorporated the fantasy tone and vibe of his era which married well with the magical tale being told.
