A 1-credit clear of the arcade game Dodonpachi, played with MAME 0.226. Score: 25,057,040. At last! I've wanted to clear this for years and I finally put in some time to learn it. This is not an easy game by any stretch, but it's nowhere near as tough as it seemed on my first attempt to learn it. I've learned more shmups since then, I find the C-S ship easier than A-L, and getting comfortable with just-in-time bombing in late stages made a huge difference. With Espgaluda, Deathsmiles, Donpachi, and now Dodonpachi, this is my 4th Cave clear, which I'm very happy with given what a brick wall these games felt like when I first got into shmups.
