I was supposed to practice for a 1-Round clear but honestly, the idea of needing to do the entire game perfectly just so I can have a chance at the TLB got old fast. What didn't get old was the scoring system I got to learn about while trying to get as consistent as possible for said clear.
I have no idea how this happened as I always ignored this game's scoring system due to the chaining seeming way too strict for me, so at first I only learned enough to get both extends, but at some point during my practice I started to understand how it works and as it turns out it's really fun to engage with.
So I ended up changing my objective from getting a 1-Round clear to getting a 1-ALL with at least double the score of the first one I did. This would mean I was supposed to get at least 130M, but even that sounded a bit too small despite this change happening when I was only starting to learn how to score, so I decided to push it up to 150M.
For the run itself, pretty decent up until Stage 5. I fully expected to die on the Stage 4 boss (although not in the way that I did here) so it didn't really bother me. That first miss on Stage 5 however was terrible, as it would've pushed me past 170M had I avoided that, but nerves set in and ended up fat-fingering the left key straight onto a bullet. The second half of the stage went even worse than I expected, and having to survive on the final pattern with no lives or bombs is terrible, but at least I managed to get a score I'm not ashamed of. No idea if it's a good score or not, but with how little time it actually took me I can say I'm proud of it.
